The Keeper's House will be open to visitors every Monday through Friday from Memorial Day through Labor Day, and on those Saturdays when the Lighthouse is open for visitors (June 11, July 9 and August 13).

Our regularly scheduled hours are from 1:00pm to 5:00pm.

May

Saturday, May 14 -   Lakeside Daisy Days, Keeper's House open 10 am to 3 pm for tours.   Gift shop and museum open  well.  Hearth Cooking demonstrations throughout the day.

July

Saturday, July 9 - Music in The Firelands, 10 AM to 3 pm.  Deserts: homemade pies, brownies and ice cream.  Strings of Glory, (hammered dulcimer and zither) play 12:00 to 2:00 pm. 2pm concert by the 65 piece North Coast Concert Band .  BYO lawn chair.  Open house tours.   Gift Shop/Museum open. Activities all day, 10am to 4 pm.

Wednesday, August 24, 2011 - Ottawa County Historical Society annual pot-luck picnic at The Keeper's House, hearth cooking demonstration at 4:30 pm, picnic dinner at 5:pm - remember its POT-LUCK.

Saturday, September 10, 2011 - Carroll Township Tour (Bus or self guided), leaves Carroll Twp. Complex, 11080 W. Toussaint Rd., Oak Harbor, OH @ 1:00 PM, no fee but donations accepted, call 419.898.6662 for reservations by September 5th.  This effort is supported by the Ottawa County Historical Society and members are encouraged to take advantage of this first ever tour.

Wednesday, October 5, 2011 - Keeper's House Steering Committee Meeting, 7:00 PM, location to be announced.

Saturday, October 8, 2011 - The Lighthouse Festival,   Music, bean soup, corn bread & more.  A variety of activities for the whole family.  Gift Shop open.  Pioneer and Civil War Music. Civil War Encampment Friday evening throughout Saturday, "Honoring Henry Wolcott."  Drawing for annual prizes, 4 pm.
